We are getting Married!

We met on the streets of CYI, Ahavah East Legon branch, to be precise. At the time, love wasn't instant. In fact, it wasn't there at all, just a few casual greetings and quiet familiarity.

Not long after, Love moved to Cape Coast to pursue her Master's degree, and somewhere in that distance, a real friendship began to take shape.

As the head of La Famille East Legon back then, Love had every reason to keep in touch. Sam, a creative with a guitar and a beautiful voice, was often called upon for peer ministrations. What started as simple check-ins around Wednesday gatherings slowly turned into playful banter... and then into something deeper.

Through different seasons—some of them quite tough—we showed up for each other. What grew was a friendship marked by support, honesty, and a kind of ease that made us almost inseparable.

Then one unexpected night, everything shifted. In the most Sam way possible, he let his feelings slip... through what can only be described as an unconscious prayer point. A prayer that wasn't meant to be said out loud but was. And just like that, the story changed.

The journey since hasn't been perfect. There have been challenges, growth, and stretching: spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. But through it all, one thing has remained constant: we kept and keep finding our way back to each other.

Last year, Sam proposed in the most beautiful way, and now, with full hearts, we're stepping into forever.
